What we collect

When you send an enquiry through this website, we receive your name and email address, plus anything else you choose to add: your business name, phone number, the service you’re interested in and your message.

When you submit the enquiry form, we also receive your IP address and the submission time. These are included in the enquiry email so we can investigate spam, repeated unwanted submissions and misuse of the form.

If you email or call us directly, we receive your contact details and whatever you tell us.

This website doesn’t use analytics, advertising trackers or marketing cookies.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to discuss and deliver any work you ask us to do, and to keep a record of our correspondence. We don’t sell or rent your details, share them for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

Services that help us

• Cloudflare hosts this website and runs the enquiry form. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that each enquiry comes from a person rather than a bot, which involves technical information such as your IP address and browser details.
• To stop the form being flooded, your IP address is used to count recent enquiries. This temporary rate-limit count is separate from the IP address and submission time included in your enquiry email.
• Resend delivers form enquiries, including the IP address and submission time, to our inbox by email.
• Purelymail hosts our email, including your enquiry and any replies.

These providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

The IP address and submission time are retained with the enquiry email and deleted when that email is deleted. We keep enquiries and correspondence for as long as we need them to respond, to work with you and to meet our legal and tax record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete your details sooner where we’re not required to keep them.

Keeping it secure

Your enquiry travels over an encrypted connection and is stored with the providers listed above. Only Coastside Digital can access it.

Questions and complaints

If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your information, please contact us first at hello@coastside.digital and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
